2

Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*

Waco is home of the Baylor Bears. My grandparents made sure that I knew for a fact that there's always a great place for higher education at a HBCU.

Walking Paul Quinn campus all of my life I always felt like this is where I belong. I never got that feeling from Baylor, even though my Aunt worked there.

3

What is the story of your "experience" at Your HBCU given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution?*

As a mother of a high school student deciding to go back to college to get her degree was scary. Being on Texas Southern campus as a nontraditional student ended up being one of the greatest experiences in my life thus far!

Having a blast, even at my age, participating in events at my Alma Mata
