Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*
My entire family attended Alabama State University. I felt it was best that I continue that tradition. One of the best decisions that I’ve ever made.
I received two scholarship (baseball) offers. I eventually chose ASU over Jackson State because I didn’t want to leave home.
What is the story of your "experience" at Your HBCU given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution?*
There are so many stories that I just can’t name one. I truly enjoyed the HBCU experience. If I had to sum it all up in a few words it would be: family, fellowship, and love.
"First time" experiences at your HBCU?*
