Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*

I chose my HBCU because of its rich history, family oriented atmosphere, and overall environment. Challenging me to beat my absolute best.

What is the story of your "experience" at Your HBCU given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution?*

My experience at my HBCU is second to none. I wake up early ready to tackle the day, meet new people and step one step closer to obtaining my degree

"First time" experiences at your HBCU?*

First time experiences at my hbcu are memories I will never forget. I’ve made such amazing friends. Coming to an hbcu was the best choice I’ve ever made.

Who are the professors that have impacted your life in and out of the classroom? How did they do that?*

Dr Byron Johnson. He’s one of my professors that always pushed me to be my very best. He saw in me what I didn’t see in myself. I will never forget him

What to date has been your proudest moment @ Your HBCU?

My proudest moment thus far at my HBCU was when the semester ends and I receive my grades I’ve worked so hard for.

What situation in your life made you feel like you had arrived into woman/manhood?

Overcoming the challenges college introduces. At one point, you begin to think differently. You begin to act differently. This is how you know you’re arriving at your manhood. Your character is becoming more developed.

What adversities (hardships) have you overcome to become the strong person that you are?

My challenges were stepping out of my comfort zone. By doing this, I was about to meet such solid people.
