Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*

I decided to become a student at Jackson State because I felt that it was a great school of choice for my intended major which is History. It also has a RICH history itself.

"First time" experiences at your HBCU?*

First time ever sharing a room.

Dr. Hilliard L. Lackey.

Best restaurants on/near campus? Best dishes?

Bostons,Wingstop,Taco Bell, McDonalds. I like no LOVE taco’s the most.

College crush?

Lol, I have a boyfriend who attends Southern University.

What is your major? and Why did you choose it?

History/African American Studies. I chose this major because I want to be a part of letting others know about the rich history African Americans have.

What to date has been your proudest moment @ Your HBCU?

The first time ever marching with the Sonic Boom of the South & also my first day being a freshman.

Where are the spots to go to if you wanted to cuddle with your boy or girlfriend?

The Plaza.

What are the chants heard most often at the sporting events?

Im so glad…I go to JSU.

How are you positively active on campus? (e.g. clubs, SGA, etc.)

Past Sonic Boom Of The South Member. Missouri Club Member.

What to date has been your saddest moment at your HBCU?

When school ends for the summer.

Meeting new people. Hanging out with my roommate.
