Where are you from? Who introduced you to HBCUs?*
I am from Anderson, South Carolina. I attend an AME church and they are all about HBCUs. My pastor actually attended and graduated from Allen.
Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*
I chose an HBCU because I felt like I would have a better college experience and a fair education along with my African American classmates.
What is the story of your "experience" at Your HBCU given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution?*
My experience at Allen University has been many lessons taught because at here at Allen the professors don't let you fail.

"First time" experiences at your HBCU?*
My first college homecoming week was amazingly crazy! You haven't witnessed a great homecoming unless you've attended a HBCU.
Who are the professors that have impacted your life in and out of the classroom? How did they do that?*
My english professor has impacted my life for the better. She is also my advisor so it helps that she can be there for me inside and outside of the classroom. I told her my story about not trying my best and she has kept me on my toes and has encouraged me to my best so I could earn scholarships.
Your wildest moment at college?
My wildest moment at college has to be homecoming week. There was never a boring moment.
What is your major? and Why did you choose it?
My major is English. I chose this because I love the subject and I also want to teach it.
What are the chants heard most often at the sporting events?
"AU BLUE GOLD"
