Prince George’s County MD.
I’ve grew up with family members who attended HBCUs.
I met my true love at DSU!!
Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*
I had a full academic scholarship to DSU.
What is the story of your "experience" at Your HBCU given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution?*
I would say my experience at DSU was life-changing. I learned so much about self, talents and skills I never knew I had! I also met some life-long friends and the love of my life!
I wouldn’t change my experience for nothing in the world.
"First time" experiences at your HBCU?*
My first time experience at my HBCU was during a college visit at what we call “Hornets Day”. We got to meet the Greeks, athletes, and the band was going off!!
They ended the visit with like a mini pep rally and letting everyone know who got accepted and I was one of those people!
Who are the professors that have impacted your life in and out of the classroom? How did they do that?*
Ms. Lauriean was the best professor I’ve ever had she made learning fun with interactive activities that stuck with me from freshman year on. She changed my outlook on life! She turned me into a 100% Environmental Scientist.
What sports and/or extra curricular activities did you do in High School? And why?
I ran track and cheered because those were my two favorite sports! And I modeled as well.
Best restaurants on/near campus? Best dishes?
My new favorite place is Fu, but my weakness is Roma’s lemon pepper chicken.
College crush?
I’m in love with my college crush his name is Raphael Jason-Morgan.
