Harlem USA spent tons of summers in the south.

Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*
My grandmother she said no college no money lml All of my friends from south kakki went there so it helped.

What is the story of your "experience" at Your HBCU given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution?*
Wow so many, I learned that family doesn’t have to be a blood relative. I have acquired lots of extra brothers and sisters from attending Claflin College. That question just had my memories going crazy
"First time" experiences at your HBCU?*
Road trip, Love and first college fight was in the yard during lunch Turnt Up
Who are the professors that have impacted your life in and out of the classroom? How did they do that?*
My acct. Teacher he told me you as a Blackman need to be a leader and never bow your head break down all walls

What sports and/or extra curricular activities did you do in High School? And why?
I only played basketball and Mac’d the girls
Basketball because I wanted to be MJ. I was close I got Kutt by the Memphis Grizzlies in 01
Best restaurants on/near campus? Best dishes?
Gotta keep it real. Sizzler and shoneys. Steak and pancakes n grits.
College crush?
Didn’t have one I was very popular amongst the ladies I was their crush
Ghost stories involving buildings or spots on campus?
I was just about to say that. Definitely ghosts walking the halls in Bursars building
What is your major? and Why did you choose it?
Accounting, minor Business Management I was taking those classes in High school
What to date has been your proudest moment @ Your HBCU?
Intramural basketball season had a better crowd than the school games us New York Possie vs Crash Crew epic games
Where are the spots to go to if you wanted to cuddle with your boy or girlfriend?
Lol, well those were top secret locations for my crew to know. But seeing that I had a vehicle and my girl was a junior I had tons of off campus choices. But if you wanna know my favorite spot it was the Science building classroom 207.
What are the chants heard most often at the sporting events?
I was an athlete didn’t do cheerleading even tho I didn’t play college ball there
How are you positively active on campus? (e.g. clubs, SGA, etc.)
I supported everyone I went to every social event on campus concerts baseball games softball basketball etc. I should’ve did SGA tho regret not doing it
Where is the “yard” located?
In the middle of campus closer to the girls dorms. We had it good we were next door to SCSU.
What and where are the historical places on campus?
The auditorium and bursars bldg were very old buildings on campus
What to date has been your saddest moment at your HBCU?
Leaving when my grandmother got real sick and I was the only one to care for her
What situation in your life made you feel like you had arrived into woman/manhood?
When I married my Wife and had all my children under one roof
How do you deal with racism when you encounter it?
I overpower it don’t allow it I make them feel like the minority. I used to act like Malcom X.
When and how did you discover your passion in life?
1992 I was about to witness a massacre in my hood two gangs about to go in on each other and I stopped it. I have a true Gift from God when it comes to our youth the Gangster youth I can calm their spirits and make them drop their weapons.
That’s when I formed Hollywoods Sports Foundation, where I build young men and future leaders through sports.
What's your take on life (in the philosophical sense)?
It’s corny but true Life is really what you make it, I worked corporate world didn’t like it so I started my own and then entered again and now I enjoy it
How did you overcome your nervousness about going to college?
Wasn’t really nervousness I experienced a lot of hatred from the south guys being from NYC until they got to know me and saw I was a good dude
Are you a member of a fraternity?
I was suppose to be a QQQQQQQQQQQQQQ but had to leave. I bleed Purple and Gold
If you could speak to those family members that have risen but that live forever through you, what words would you speak?
Thanks for showing me how to really appreciate change
How did your HBCU prepare you for a diverse workplace?
It taught me how to create my own worth, I own three businesses right now soon to be 4. They instilled a be your own boss mindset
What advice would you give high school students filling out college applications for the first time?
Please learn the proper way to format your essay that’s the most important thing
If you could only speak two sentences to the youth coming after you what would you say?
Respect those that paved the way before you and always keep those roads paved for the next who travel.
How did your HBCU help you to transition into your careers workforce?
Business courses gave me various examples of what careers would fit me based on my attitude in class discussions and projects
