Where are you from? Who introduced you to HBCUs?*
I’m from Stone Mountain, Ga. I was introduced to HBCU’s by my football and baseball coaches.

Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*
I chose an HBCU over a PWI due to its rich history and was also offered to continue my baseball career at Paine College.
What is the story of your "experience" at Your HBCU given its heralded status as a stellar and prestigious institution?*
My experience was amazing. Day 1 I felt like I was a part of something special. I was Mr. Homecoming and Mr. Sophomore. I was a part of the Orientation Team, which gave me the platform to share my experience with incoming students.
"First time" experiences at your HBCU?*
My “First Time” experience was our Basketball game against our conference rival, Albany State. The atmosphere in Carter Gymnasium was nothing that I’ve ever experienced.
Who are the professors that have impacted your life in and out of the classroom? How did they do that?*
For me, it was one professor. Professor Cardenas aka Professor C.
Being a student athlete, she ensured that academics came first. She also supported me by coming to our games. She also helped me prepare my resume so that I was prepared for the world.

What sports do/did you play at your HBCU? What positions?
I played golf and baseball.
I played 1st base, 3rd base, pitcher, and DH.
Who was your greatest influence in your life growing up? And Why?
My grandmother was my greatest influence in my life. No matter good or bad she was always there. She was my biggest supporter.
What was your proudest moment in your life to date?
My proudest moment was becoming a father. There is no better feeling.
