Where are you from? Who introduced you to HBCUs?*

I GOT ROOTS IN BOTH PHILADELPHIA AS WELL AS SOUTH CAROLINA AND ID HAVE TO SAY JUST TOURING COLLEGES.

Why did you choose an HBCU over a pwi?*

HBCU gave me a chance to not only connect with the education founded by the roots of the likes of Booker T Washington, Mary Mcloed Bethune and W.E.B Dubois but also CONTINUE the Rich tradition of higher education in a HBCU environment.

[How did you decide to become a student at Morris College?]

I CHOOSE MORRIS BECAUSE OF ITS PASTORAL MINISTRY PROGRAM.

Not many i had my first real challenge. CAPSTONE THESIS PAPER

Who are the professors that have impacted your life in and out of the classroom? How did they do that?*

Dr. Marc David, Dr. David Butler, Mr. Robert Zalimas, Dr. JACOB butler and Dr. Maggie Glover, they all push me to follow my dreams and pursue the education I rightly deserve.

THERE have been good days and bad days, but i learned to be a man here, it taught me to do things with honor and dignity, morris holds all their students in high regard.

What is your major? and Why did you choose it?

Pastoral Ministry and i choose it to become a youth advocate.

What to date has been your proudest moment @ Your HBCU?

MAKING DEANS LIST TWO SEMESTER BACK TO BACK AFTER RETURNING TO SCHOOL AFTER A YEAR LONG SUSPENSION

Where are the spots to go to if you wanted to cuddle with your boy or girlfriend?

Off campus hahahaha or the gazebo

What are the chants heard most often at the sporting events?

GREEK CALLS AND DO THOSE HORNETS ROCK

How are you positively active on campus? (e.g. clubs, SGA, etc.)

I am either president, vp, chaplain of 8 different organizations on campus.

Drama club, Baptist Student Union , PHI BETA LAMBDA BUSINESS FRATERNITY INC. just to name a few.

Where is the “yard” located?

The whole campus but mainly by the greek wall across from the Cafe athletic field.

What and where are the historical places on campus?

The OR Ruben Chapel in the center of the college has been instrumental in the community and school life.

What to date has been your saddest moment at your HBCU?

GETTING SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL

PRAYER AND A WONDERFUL PRESIDENT WHO BELIEVED IN ME. GOD DON’T make mistakes

What is your process when you are going through a hardship that you have never faced before?

Pray and let it go, God will give u challenges u have have faith and get through them

How did you overcome your nervousness about going to college?

Drink lol

Are you a member of a fraternity?

Right now im a member of Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity Inc. i feel in love with the use of networking and being a working professional

How did your HBCU prepare you for a diverse workplace?

The internships are in a diverse workplace which puts me in an awesome place after graduation

What advice would you give high school students filling out college applications for the first time?

Take your time, read all paperwork, research area, as well as the school in detail.

Describe a situation from your life where this proverb came to life or occurred “The person who grew up without correction will find his mouth slipping instead of his foot.”

I was out drinking and got pulled over by a cop, got away with a dui but talked so much i was arrested for reckless driving.

How did your HBCU help you to transition into your careers workforce?

Challenging courses and High level internships put my career path at my fingertips immediately.
